How to play

A One Piece character a day, the same for every player. 20 guesses to name them.

1

Give a name

Type the first name that comes to mind and pick it from the list. Each guess lands on a row: the character on the left, then eight columns compared with the one of the day.

Being wrong costs nothing but the guess.

2

Reading a row

Every cell answers one question: is this trait the one of the day's character?

Same as the answer.
Partly shared: one haki out of two, or two fruits of the same family.
Nothing in common.
3

The arrows

Bounty, height and debut are numbers. A red cell then carries an arrow pointing to where the answer stands. Up if it is above your guess, down if it is below.

The answer is higher.
The answer is lower.

The eight columns

Gender, affiliation and sea of origin either match or they do not. Fruit compares by type: the same family turns the cell yellow.

Haki weighs the three kinds one by one. Debut shows the arc of the first appearance. The same arc is exact; otherwise the arrow points along the chapters.

The clues

Five clues open as the guesses go by, from the weakest to the strongest. The sea of origin at 6, the first episode at 9, the fruit's name at 12, the epithet at 15, and a blurred portrait at 18.

They are offered, never forced. A clue you leave shut stays shut.

Winning, losing, the streak

You have 20 guesses. Name the character and the day is won; run out and the answer is revealed. A won day extends your streak, a lost one breaks it.

A new character comes at midnight. A day already played cannot be played again.
